The Sasta Laavu is a highly technical fleece jacket built around Polartec® recycled Thermal Pro fabric, delivering a strong warmth-to-weight ratio alongside genuine breathability. Designed by Finnish outdoor brand Sasta, it works equally well as a standalone layer on dry, cool days in the field or as an insulating midlayer beneath a shell on harder mountain and woodland stalks. The cut is trim enough to sit neatly under waterproofs without restricting movement, yet roomy enough in the torso for active wear. Zippered pockets keep valuables secure whether you're glassing a hillside or moving between drives. The recycled Polartec® Thermal Pro construction gives the jacket real thermal performance without feeling heavy on the pack list — at 530 g it won't be the item that slows you down. Hood-free by design, it pairs cleanly with a softshell or hardshell hood above, and the collar sits high enough to cut wind on its own when conditions are merely brisk.
