The Barnes Match Burner is a match-grade reloading bullet, not loaded ammunition — a component projectile for handloaders to seat over their own primed case and powder charge. This 6.5mm (.264" diameter) version weighs 120 grains and uses a boat-tail (BT) profile with a copper jacket over a lead core, giving a ballistic coefficient of 0.460 and a sectional density of 0.246 for a flat, consistent trajectory downrange. Barnes designed the Match Burner range to bring match-quality accuracy to reloaders and competitive shooters without the price of its flagship hunting bullet lines, making it a sound choice for bench rest, high power rifle and everyday practice loads in 6.5mm cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor. Each box holds 100 bullets, supplied loose for the handloader to seat using their own dies and reloading press — no cases, primers or powder are included.
