The Gehmann 234 is the top section of Gehmann's flexible rifle support system — the spring-loaded, pivoting cradle that carries the rifle's fore-end — supplied here on its own, without the floor-standing base. It is a direct replacement top for Gehmann's 273 and 263 support stands, and is the same top assembly fitted to the complete 235 flexible rifle support, so it suits anyone who already owns a compatible base and simply needs a fresh or spare top rather than the whole unit. Two interchangeable spring inserts are included — a white insert (weak spring, minimum flexibility 35mm, SH2 subclass A) and a black insert (strong spring, minimum flexibility 25mm, SH2 subclass B) — letting the shooter tune how much the rest gives under the rifle to suit their class and hold. At 35cm long and built to Gehmann's usual precision-engineered standard, it is authorised for competition use by World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) and aimed at SH1/SH2 classified, junior, beginner and disabled shooters working from a bench or fixed stand.
