The Hornady A-TIP Match .375 calibre 390 grain bullet is a precision-engineered component projectile for handloaders demanding the highest levels of long-range accuracy. Its precision-machined aluminium tip is longer than conventional polymer tips, moving the centre of gravity rearward to enhance inflight stability and reduce drag variability for tighter groups at extended range. The profile combines an optimised blend of ogive geometry, tip length, bearing surface and a calibre-specific boat-tail, all developed and verified by Hornady's Ballistic Development Group using Doppler radar to achieve a low drag coefficient. The AMP bullet jacket offers industry-leading concentricity and uniformity. Sequential off-press packaging with minimal handling ensures consistency from bullet to bullet, and each box includes a polishing bag for final preparation before loading — bullets are not bulk-washed after manufacture. The A-TIP design is forgiving of twist rate, seating depth and muzzle velocity variations. Note: an A-TIP seating stem is required for optimal bullet seating. Sold as component bullets for reloading — not loaded ammunition.
