The Hornady ELD Match in 6.5mm (.264 diameter), 100 grains, is a precision component bullet for handloaders who demand consistent accuracy at range from their 6.5mm cartridges. At 100 grains, this is one of the lighter offerings in the 6.5mm ELD Match range, suiting faster-twist barrels and cartridges where a moderate bullet weight delivers good velocity. The defining feature of the ELD Match line is the Heat Shield tip — a heat-resistant polymer meplat engineered to resist aerodynamic heating during flight, holding its precise shape to maintain a consistent ballistic coefficient from first round to last. A streamlined secant ogive, optimum boattail and highly concentric AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) bullet jackets work together to produce best-in-class BCs for the calibre. The precision swaged lead core contributes further uniformity and in-flight stability. All ELD Match BCs are Doppler-radar verified and corrected to standard atmospheric conditions — reliable data handloaders can use with confidence when developing loads. A quality choice for competitive target shooting in any 6.5mm platform.
