The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 223 Remington (.224) is a solid choice for the handloader producing rounds for target shooting, varminting or foxing from one of the most widely used centrefire rifle calibres in the UK. The full-length sizing die restores fired brass to SAAMI minimum dimensions. At its heart is Hornady's Elliptical Expander, which sizes the case neck with significantly less friction and less case-neck stretch than conventional ball expanders — internal threading prevents it working loose. The Zip Spindle locks positively and lets you dial in sizing depth with precision or shift quickly for larger changes. The in-line bullet seating die uses a floating alignment sleeve to keep bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect alignment before the bullet enters the neck, helping produce consistent seating depths and lower run-out. A built-in roll crimper means no separate crimp die is needed, saving a step in the process. Both dies come fitted with Sure-Loc lock rings. Supplied in a stackable die storage box. 7/8"-14 thread — fits any press accepting standard dies. Shell holder not included. Made in USA with a no-risk lifetime warranty.
