The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 270 Winchester (.277) gives reloaders the precision tooling needed to resize and seat bullets to SAAMI minimum specifications. The Full-Length Size Die incorporates Hornady's Elliptical Expander in place of a conventional ball expander, delivering smoother neck sizing with significantly less friction and reduced case neck stretch. Internal threading holds the expander securely, and the Zip Spindle locks positively to prevent slippage while allowing incremental or rapid adjustment. The precision-machined and polished internal die profile prevents case sticking and ensures reliable functioning across a long service life. The Seating Die features Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System, which aligns the bullet, case neck and seating stem in a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case mouth — improving consistency and accuracy. A built-in roll crimp facility saves a press station without compromising control. Sure-Loc lock rings clamp uniformly around the die body and tighten without thread contact, protecting the threads and making swaps quick and clean.
