The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 280 Remington (.284) gives reloaders a precision-machined tool set built to last a lifetime. The Full-Length Size Die resizes cases to SAAMI minimum specifications and features Hornady's Elliptical Expander — a step up from conventional ball expanders — which sizes the neck smoothly, reduces friction and case-neck stretch, and can neck cases up to the next calibre without a separate expander die. The Elliptical Expander and hardened steel Headed Decap Pin are mounted on the Zip Spindle, which locks positively to prevent slippage and allows fine incremental adjustments or rapid repositioning with a simple zip action. The Seating Die includes an In-line Bullet Seating System that aligns the bullet, case neck and seating stem in a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck, improving consistency and accuracy. A built-in roll crimp feature removes the need for a separate crimp die, saving a station on the press. Sure-Loc lock rings clamp around the full die body for a solid, thread-safe hold. All dies are made in the USA, covered by Hornady's no-risk lifetime warranty, and use standard 7/8 inch-14 thread compatible with all presses accepting standard dies. Shell holder not included.
