The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 3-Die Set Cowboy for 45 Colt (.452) is built for cowboy-action shooters who reload for the classic single-action revolvers and lever-action carbines chambered in this long-established calibre. The Cowboy die set is tuned specifically for lead-bullet loads, expanding the case mouth generously to allow lead projectiles to seat without shaving. The Full-Length Size Die sizes cases to SAAMI minimum specifications and carries Hornady's titanium nitride gold-ring finish — harder than carbide — so no lubrication is required when working with straight-wall pistol brass. The Zip Spindle on the sizing die locks positively against slippage and enables both fine incremental adjustment and rapid coarse movement in a single component. The Expander die opens the case mouth to the correct bell for lead-bullet seating, and the Seating Die uses Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System to align bullet, case neck and seating stem before entry for consistent depth across the run. Sure-Loc lock rings are fitted to all three dies, which arrive in a stackable storage box. Thread is 7/8"-14 for all standard presses. No shell holder included. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.
