The Hornady Match Grade Bushing .257 is a single neck-sizing bushing designed for use with Hornady Match Grade Bushing Dies. The bushing's inner diameter of .257 inches contacts only the case neck during resizing, leaving the body of the case undisturbed and reducing brass working to a minimum. Handloaders select a bushing diameter to suit their brass neck thickness, giving precise control over neck tension and allowing them to tailor the fit between loaded round and chamber. Hornady's Match Grade Bushings are available in .001-inch increments so reloaders can step up or down to find the optimum tension for their rifle and bullet combination. Tight manufacturing tolerances throughout the bushing translate directly into consistent neck tension from case to case, which is a key contributor to shot-to-shot uniformity and tighter groups at the target. Sold individually.
