The Hornady .357 Seater Die covers three related handgun calibres — 38 Special, 357 Magnum and 357 Maximum — making it a versatile choice for revolver handloaders who work across this popular family of cartridges. Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System is the defining feature: a floating alignment sleeve holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect co-axial alignment before the bullet enters the case mouth, preventing the slight bullet canting that standard dies can introduce and delivering consistent seating depth from case to case. For revolver cartridges that benefit from a roll crimp to hold the bullet against recoil, the built-in crimper handles that task in the same stroke without needing a separate die or an extra station on the press. The Sure-Loc lock ring grips the entire die body rather than the threads, so your settings stay put between loading sessions without risk of galling. A retainer ring at the base allows fast disassembly for cleaning. Supplied with a standard bullet seating stem; the 7/8"-14 thread is compatible with all standard single-stage, turret and progressive reloading presses. Shell holder not included.
