The Hornady Seater Die #6 is a precision bullet seating die for handloading .264 / 6.5mm rifle cartridges — a calibre popular with deer stalkers and long-range shooters in the UK. Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System is the core of this die: the bullet, case neck and seating stem are all held in perfect alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck, delivering consistent seating depth that supports tight shot-to-shot accuracy. The alignment sleeve comes as standard. A built-in roll crimper means no additional crimp die is required, saving both time and a station on your press. The Sure-Loc lock ring clamps the full die body with even pressure — the locking screw tightens without contacting the threads, preserving both the ring and the die — while integrated wrench flats allow simple fitting and removal without risk of pliers damage. A quick-release retainer ring near the base makes disassembly and cleaning straightforward. The standard 7/8"-14 thread fits any press that accepts standard dies. Shell holder is not included.
