The Hornady 6.5mm (.264) Seater Die is a precision bullet seating die designed for handloaders working with 6.5mm cartridges — a calibre widely used in UK deer stalking and long-range target shooting. At the heart of the die is Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System, where a floating alignment sleeve holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect co-axial alignment before the bullet enters the case mouth. This approach eliminates the canting that can occur with conventional dies, translating directly into more consistent seating depths and tighter groups downrange. A built-in roll crimper lets you apply a firm, even crimp in the same stroke, removing the need for a separate crimp die or an additional station on your press. The Sure-Loc lock ring clamps around the entire die body rather than biting into the threads, so your settings stay put without risk of galling. The retainer ring at the base allows the die to be stripped down for cleaning in seconds.
