The Hornady Field Load Shot Bushing is a replacement charge bushing for the Hornady 366 Auto shotshell reloading press, calibrated to drop a 1 1/2 oz charge of lead shot. Unlike the standard shot charge bushings supplied with the press, field load bushings are engineered to compensate for the denser packing of larger shot sizes such as #6, making them the correct choice for heavy field loads rather than trap or skeet charges. At 1 1/2 oz, this bushing is suited to magnum and waterfowl-style loads where a heavier payload is required. It fits all Hornady shotshell reloaders and is designed for use with lead shot only. Swapping bushings on the 366 Auto is straightforward and allows the reloader to switch between different payload weights without tools. If you run a variety of shotshell recipes on the 366 Auto, keeping the appropriate bushing for each load on hand keeps the loading session moving and takes the guesswork out of shot charge weight.
