The Hornady Shot Charge Bushing 1 1/8 oz #9 (item 190102) is a replacement or additional shot-metering bushing for use with all Hornady shotshell reloaders, including the 366 Auto progressive press. Shot charge bushings fit into the shot hopper drop tube and control the volume of lead shot released into each hull on every cycle of the press. This particular bushing is calibrated to meter a 1 1/8 oz charge and is designed for trap and skeet loads within the maximum legal limits for those disciplines. The #9 designation is Hornady's own bushing reference number, not a pellet size. Different bushing numbers are available across the shot charge range to suit different load weights; selecting the correct bushing for the intended charge weight is essential for consistent, repeatable shotshell reloads.
