The Hornady Taper Crimp Seater Die for 9mm and 9x21 combines bullet seating and taper crimping in a single step, removing the need for a separate crimp die and saving time at the reloading bench. At the heart of the design is the In-line Bullet Seating System, which holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck — giving consistent seating depth and improved accuracy. A dedicated Taper Crimp Adjustment Screw lets you dial in the precise amount of crimp without altering bullet seating depth or disturbing the lock ring, so fine-tuning is straightforward. The die features an alignment sleeve as standard, a seater adjustment screw with lock ring, and a rubber washer to maintain tension and keep the die assembly together. It ships with Hornady's Sure-Loc lock ring, which clamps around the full die body to hold position securely; the locking screw tightens against the body rather than the threads, and built-in wrench flats make removal easy without risking damage. The 7/8"–14 thread fits all standard reloading presses. Shell holder not included. Covered by Hornady's no-risk lifetime warranty. Made in the USA.
