The Sierra MatchKing .30 calibre (.308") 190 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail is one of the most respected target bullets ever made, supplied here as a bulk box of 500 for handloaders — this is a reloading component, not loaded ammunition. Sierra draws these bullets from very thin jackets held to exacting tolerances in both diameter and weight, and the small meplat on the hollow point boat tail profile gives a higher ballistic coefficient for flatter, more consistent flight at distance. Since its introduction in the early 1960s the 190gr #2210 has a long competition pedigree, including a Wimbledon Cup win and an Olympic-record score, and it remains a favourite among long-range target shooters today. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.533 and a sectional density of 0.286, it is built for accuracy on the range rather than terminal performance in the field, and Sierra does not recommend MatchKing bullets for hunting use. A precision choice for serious target and F-Class handloaders working up match loads in .308 Winchester and similar .30 calibre cartridges.
