Eley Club is a .22 LR rimfire cartridge built for club-level target shooting, sitting a step above the entry-level Eley Sport. Each lot is tested to a higher accuracy standard, so the rounds group consistently across the disciplines a club shooter is likely to face. The 40 grain lead round-nose bullet runs at a muzzle velocity of 1085 ft/s (331 m/s), giving 104.9 ft/lb of muzzle energy, with a paraffin wax lubricant to keep fouling down and feeding smooth in both rifles and pistols. Cartridge length is the standard 25.4mm (1 inch), so it cycles reliably through bolt-action target rifles, lightweight sport rifles and semi-auto pistols alike. Eley quotes a ballistic coefficient of 0.112 on the RA4 drag model, which helps when you are reading the wind at 50m. It suits 25m and 50m disciplines including 50m prone, three-position, free pistol, rapid-fire pistol and silhouette. Supplied as a box of 50 rounds, Club is a dependable choice for range practice and competition where steady accuracy matters more than headline velocity.
