The Hawke Honeycomb Sunshade for 50mm objective lenses screws onto the front of a compatible Hawke riflescope to eliminate glare and telltale reflection from the large objective. At just 9mm deep it is far more compact than a traditional full-length sunshade, keeping the rifle well-balanced and unobtrusive in the field. The honeycomb cell design scatters and absorbs light that would otherwise reflect off the front element, reducing the risk of a flash giving away a stalker's position to game. It also helps manage flare in bright overhead light or when shooting towards the sun. The 50mm objective is common on higher-magnification Hawke riflescopes used for longer-range work, and this sunshade fits that standard sizing. Compatible with Hawke riflescopes from the 2015 collection onwards. Not compatible with pre-2019 Frontier riflescopes, and Hawke metal flip-up lens covers cannot be fitted over it.
