The Hawke 32mm AO objective sunshade is a threaded metal tube that fits the objective bell of compatible Hawke riflescopes with adjustable objective (AO) focusing, reducing glare and cutting internal reflections when shooting in bright or low-angled light. Sun flare across the front element can degrade the sight picture at exactly the wrong moment — a sunshade offers a quick, tool-free solution by extending the shade over the objective lens. Measuring 2 inches (50mm) in length, it is a compact addition that keeps the overall rig manageable for woodland stalking and close-country work. The shade is threaded at both ends: two or more shades can be stacked together to build a longer hood for open-country or hill shooting, or Hawke flip-up lens covers can be attached to the front thread to protect the glass between uses. Compatible with Hawke's 2015 collection onwards.
