The Hawke 56mm objective sunshade is a threaded metal tube that fits the objective bell of compatible Hawke riflescopes, reducing glare and cutting internal reflections in bright shooting conditions. Scopes with a 56mm objective are typically chosen for high-magnification or low-light applications — long-range target work, driven shoots, or dawn and dusk deer stalking — and a sunshade protects that investment by managing stray light across the front element and preserving image contrast at the eyepiece. Measuring 4 inches (100mm) in length, it provides a meaningful hood for an objective of this size. Threaded at both ends, additional shades can be stacked for an even longer hood, or Hawke flip-up lens covers can be fitted to the front thread to keep the glass clean between uses. Compatible with Hawke's 2015 collection onwards. Please note that for pre-2015 Sidewinder riflescopes, thread adaptors are required.
