The Warne Maxima 14TM is a pair of 30mm medium-height scope rings machined specifically for the dovetail receiver found on Tikka 3TX, 3T and 695 rifles. Because Tikka grooves its receiver to take rings directly, there is no separate base to buy or fit; the rings clamp straight onto the dovetail, which keeps the whole setup low, light and rigid. They are turned from solid steel and vertically split, so they hold zero through heavy recoil and cope happily with large, weighty scopes. A Tikka-specific recoil pin gives positive engagement against the receiver dovetail for a stronger bearing surface, and each ring closes around the scope tube using four T-15 Torx socket cap screws. The medium height suits a 30mm-tube scope with an objective up to around 52mm, leaving sensible clearance over the barrel while keeping the optic close to the bore for a natural cheek weld. The matte black finish stays unobtrusive in the field, making this a sound, no-nonsense mounting solution for stalkers and hunters running a Tikka.
