This Britannia Rails scope base is a one-piece Picatinny rail built specifically for the Bergara B14 long-action receiver — fitting long-action chamberings such as 6.5x55, .270 Winchester and .30-06 — with 20 MOA of built-in forward taper. That taper uses up scope elevation adjustment that would otherwise go to waste levelling the sight-line, freeing far more of the scope's internal travel for dialling out drop at long range. Machined in Great Britain from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard-anodised coating for weatherproof, scratch-resistant durability, it's made to a true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny profile, so it accepts the widest range of Picatinny and Weaver-compatible scope rings, red dot mounts and thermal or night-vision units. At 149mm long it runs the length of the receiver for a rigid, drop-in fit using the rifle's existing pre-drilled holes — no gunsmithing required. Fitting screws are supplied, along with Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock to keep them locked under recoil, and a T15 Torx key for fitting. Distributed by Country Sports Wholesale, this rail fits the long-action receiver only — it will not fit the short-action B14.
