This Britannia Rails scope rail is machined specifically for the Bergara Pro/Premier Long Action rifle receiver, giving a secure, drop-in mounting platform for a riflescope, red dot sight or thermal/night-vision unit. Britannia Rails machine every rail in-house in Great Britain on 4/5-axis CNC equipment from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium, then hard-anodise the finish so it stands up to wet stalking conditions without corroding or scuffing. The rail is cut to a true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny profile, so it accepts the full range of Picatinny and Weaver-compatible rings and mounts rather than a proprietary fitting. This is the 20 MOA version, machined with a built-in forward elevation taper that gives extra elevation adjustment beyond what the scope's own turret can provide — useful once you are dialling for long-range shots and want to keep the scope working nearer the centre of its adjustment range rather than running out of upward travel. Fitted only to the Long Action receiver (it will not fit the Short Action pattern), at 149mm long it lines up with the existing pre-drilled holes, so there is no drilling or gunsmithing required; it fixes down with the 8-40 screws provided, using the supplied T15 Torx key, and Britannia Rails include a dab of Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock to keep the screws locked solid under recoil.
