It slides directly onto the rifle's factory 11mm dovetail and is drawn up tight with six grub screws, which are supplied, giving a secure, no-gunsmithing fit that turns the dovetail into a full-width Picatinny top for mounting scope rings, red dot sights or night vision. At 138mm long and with a flat 0 MOA base, it's the straightforward option for hunters and target shooters who don't need built-in elevation and just want a solidly aligned optics platform.
