This is Britannia Rails' 20 MOA Picatinny rail for the CZ 457, a direct-fit upgrade that converts the rifle's factory 11mm dovetail to full Picatinny/Weaver spec while building a 20-minute-of-angle cant into the base itself. Because the elevation offset is machined into the mount rather than taken up by scope-turret travel, a scope fitted to it keeps far more usable elevation adjustment in reserve for extending zero out to longer ranges — the reason this rail has become a popular choice with UK rimfire shooters moving into Precision Rimfire League-style shooting. It fits straight onto the CZ 457's dovetail and locks down with the grub screws provided, the same secure fixing method used across Britannia's CZ 457 rail range. Like the rest of the line it's CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard anodised coat for a durable, weatherproof rail. Fitting it opens up the whole Picatinny/Weaver mount and optic market — cantilever mounts, night vision and thermal add-ons, and Picatinny bipod adaptors all become straightforward once the dovetail is converted. No gunsmithing is required; it's a straight swap for the factory base.
