The Remington 700 Long Action has been a favourite for stalking and target rifles for decades, and this Britannia Rails Picatinny base gives it a mil-spec mounting platform built for long-range work. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished hard anodised, the rail is made to true Picatinny dimensions so it locks tightly onto the action once the supplied screws are fitted. It carries 20 MOA of built-in forward cant, pre-loading elevation into the mount so long-range shooters keep more of the scope's internal adjustment in hand rather than running it out partway to the target. At 149mm long it's sized to the Remington 700 long action footprint, and it's supplied ready to fit: four 6-48 screws with a T15 hex bit, along with Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock to keep the rail locked down under recoil.
