The Britannia Rails Ruger 10/22 Extended Aluminium Rail is a one-piece Picatinny scope base built specifically for the Ruger 10/22 rimfire receiver, in a black hard-anodised finish. It's CNC-machined in Great Britain from aircraft-grade T6 aluminium to a true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny profile, so it takes any standard Picatinny or Weaver-compatible ring, red dot or thermal/night-vision mount. The extended length gives a forward or rear overhang beyond the standard rail footprint, which is particularly useful for mounting bulkier night-vision or thermal units that need extra eye relief or clearance from the action. It's a 0 MOA rail — flat, with no built-in elevation taper — so it suits general rimfire use rather than long-range work. Fitting is a straightforward drop-in job using the receiver's existing pre-drilled holes: four 6-48 screws are supplied, driven with the included T15 Torx key, and a dab of the supplied Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock keeps them from working loose under recoil and vibration. At 149mm long, it's a genuine upgrade over Ruger's factory grooved receiver for anyone running a scope, red dot or night-vision optic on a 10/22.
