Britannia Rails' Savage SA rail is a UK-made Picatinny scope base engineered for Savage short-action rifles with a round rear receiver, including AccuTrigger-equipped models. CNC machined from 6082 aluminium and finished in hard black anodising, it gives a stable, lightweight mounting platform for a riflescope. This version carries 20 MOA of built-in forward elevation, cranking extra come-up into the base itself so a scope's own turret adjustment isn't used up at longer ranges - useful for anyone shooting well past standard hunting distances. It fits Savage short actions with a round rear receiver: Models 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16, the 110 to 116 range and the Savage-Stevens 200 Short, plus the Carl Gustaf 4000 and Sauer 200 Lang; it will not fit the Model 25, FTR or Palma variants. Fitting hardware is included as standard - 6-48 screws, the correct Torx bit and a sachet of Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock - so the rail is ready to fit straight out of the box.
