Britannia Rails build this one-piece Picatinny rail specifically for the Steyr-Mannlicher Classic II and Pro Hunter rifles produced from 2003 onwards, giving stalkers a solid, mil-spec base to mount a scope, night vision or thermal unit via Picatinny/Weaver rings. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard-anodised coating for durability in the field, the rail is cut to true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny spec so it locks firmly onto the top of the rifle's action with no play. This is the 0 MOA, S/L-length version, sized at 156mm and drilled to fit rifles chambered in .222 and .223. It fixes using four 6-48 screws driven with the supplied T15 Hex bit, and Britannia Rails include a dose of Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock along with the T15 Torx key needed to fit it, so everything required to mount the rail straight out of the box is in the pack. Made in the UK to the tight tolerances the brand is known for, it is a straightforward, no-fuss upgrade for anyone wanting to fit modern optics to an older Steyr-Mannlicher action.
