Britannia Rails' Universal Dovetail Rimfire 9-11mm Extended Rail is built for rimfire rifles that Britannia don't produce a dedicated one-piece rail for. It clamps directly onto a standard 9-11mm dovetail — the mounting groove found on most rimfire actions — rather than a Weaver or Picatinny base, gripping from the side via four hex screws, with an ejection port cut-out on each side so the action still feeds and ejects normally. At around 188mm long with a 115mm mounting length, the rail is reversible and can extend either forward or to the rear of the action, giving room to fit oversized scope bodies, correct eye relief, or add a clip-on night-vision or thermal unit ahead of a day scope. The top of the rail is a true mil-spec Picatinny profile, so once fitted it takes any standard Picatinny ring or mount. Machined in the UK from aircraft-grade aluminium to tight CNC tolerances, it is a practical way to add proper Picatinny mounting to a rimfire rifle that only has a narrow dovetail groove to work with.
