This Pulsar one-piece quick-release mount is made to fit the Pulsar Talion thermal riflescope to a rifle carrying a Weaver or Picatinny rail. As a single-piece base it gives the Talion a rigid, one-unit platform, while the quick-release action lets you take the sight off the rail in seconds and refit it without losing your settings. That repeatability is the point of a quick-release mount: the scope returns to the same position on the rail so your zero and point of impact are maintained, rather than re-zeroing each time the sight goes back on. It is a sensible setup for stalkers who run a Talion across more than one rifle, or who prefer to remove and stow the thermal unit separately between outings. Built specifically as a Weaver/Picatinny-to-Talion solution, it pairs the standard rail fitting found on most hunting rifles with the mounting interface of the Talion, so the sight sits where it should with the minimum of fuss.
