The Vortex Precision Extended Cantilever 34mm Mount is a forward-mounted scope ring and base combination built for rifles that need the optic positioned further forward than a standard mount allows, giving correct eye relief and head placement on the stock. It fits 34mm-tube riflescopes and sets the centreline of the tube at 1.574" (40mm) above the base, with a 2" forward offset (3.475" front cantilever) that moves the scope's eyepiece back towards a natural shooting position. Ring spacing runs 2.750" inside-to-inside and 4.350" outside-to-outside, with each ring 0.80" wide. The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and finished in Vortex's Type III low-glare matte black anodising for a durable, snag-free profile. The rings split horizontally rather than vertically and share common fasteners with the base for one-tool fitting, secured with robust Grade 8 fasteners — base clamp screws torque to 45-50 in-lbs, ring cap screws to 15-18 in-lbs. This is the standard, non-cant version, with no built-in MOA slope. As with all Vortex hardware, it's backed by the unlimited, unconditional VIP lifetime warranty.
