The Vortex Precision Extended Cantilever 34mm Mount (20 MOA) is a one-piece scope mount for fitting a 34mm-tube riflescope in a forward position on a precision or long-range rifle. The cantilever design moves the optic ahead of the action, giving correct eye relief and head placement for a comfortable cheek weld, while the mount's built-in 20 MOA cant tips the scope's zero forward, freeing up elevation adjustment that would otherwise be used dialling for distance - useful when running a high-magnification scope at extended range. It positions the centre of the riflescope tube at 1.574 inches (40mm) above the rail, and is precision machined from 7075 T6 aluminium with a Type 3 low-glare matte black anodised finish for durability in the field. The mount is horizontally split for straightforward fitting and uses Grade 8 fasteners. Base clamp screws take 45-50 in-lbs and the ring screws 18 in-lbs. At 197g, it adds minimal weight to the rifle.
