The Vortex Pro 1" Cantilever Mount is a one-piece scope mount that brings a 1-inch-tube riflescope to the correct height and forward position on a Picatinny rail. Machined from 6061 aluminium and finished in a low-glare Type 2 matte black anodising, it suits rifles that need extra eye relief and bolt/receiver clearance rather than a standard set of rings, such as AR-platform actions. The cantilever's forward offset places the scope where it needs to be without stacking multiple mounts or ring heights, and the rings themselves are horizontally split for straightforward fitting and removal. Centre height to bore is 1.435" (36.45mm). It clamps to the rail with 1/2" hex bolts, torqued to 30 in-lbs at the base clamp and 18 in-lbs at the ring screws, for a secure and repeatable fit. A straightforward, no-frills mount for stalkers and shooters running AR-platform rifles, or any Picatinny-railed gun that needs a taller, forward-offset scope position.
