Warne's Maxima Horizontal (500M) rings are a fixed, two-piece scope mount built for 1 inch scope tubes, sized low for objective bells up to 36mm. Rather than Warne's split-ring Maxima design, the Horizontal uses a traditional side-split clamp, CNC machined from sintered steel for a rigid, high-strength hold. Each ring clamps around the scope with four Torx T-15 cap screws — two per clamp — while a square, permanently installed recoil key engages positively with the base to stop the mount shifting under recoil. The STANAG 4694 interface fits both Picatinny rails and Weaver-style bases, and the rings carry Warne's return-to-zero guarantee, so a scope can be removed and refitted without losing its point of impact. Finished in matte black and weighing 4.9oz a pair, they're a solid, no-nonsense mounting choice for a rifle heading out stalking or on the range, where a scope needs to stay put shot after shot.
