The Warne 601M is a medium-height, one-inch ring from the Maxima Tactical range, built for Weaver-style and Picatinny (Mil-Spec 1913) bases rather than the sporter dovetails used on rimfire rifles. Where Warne's standard rings split horizontally, the Tactical series uses a vertical split design that clamps the full width of the base slot for a more rigid, no-slip hold under sustained recoil — the kind of mount intended for night vision, thermal or other heavier optics that need to stay firmly in place. Machined from steel throughout and finished in matte black to cut glare, the 601M sits at medium height with an optical centreline of 0.940in, giving enough clearance for a moderate objective bell while keeping the sightline as low as practical. The ring halves close around the scope tube and lock to the base using Torx-style socket-cap screws, in keeping with the rest of the Warne range. Sold as a pair, made in the USA by Warne Scope Mounts, and a straightforward fit for any rifle already carrying a Picatinny or Weaver-style rail.
