The Warne 222M is a permanently attached (fixed) ring set for 34mm scope tubes in high height, aimed at rifles carrying a large-objective scope that needs extra clearance over the barrel or a bulkier action. Precision-machined from steel in the USA, the rings weigh in at 6.4oz and use a wide clamping band to grip the scope tube firmly without distorting it. Both the front and rear rings carry Warne's square stainless steel recoil control key, engaging the full width of a Weaver-style cross-slot base for a no-slip hold that resists even heavy recoil, and protects softer base materials from peening or swaging over repeated use. The high setting clears objective bells up to 56mm, so it suits big-bell scopes with generous light-gathering power - useful for stalking in poor light - while still allowing a workable cheek weld with a taller stock comb underneath. Mounting is via four Torx T-15 socket cap screws per ring, torqued to the scope maker's recommended figure (max 25 in/lb). The 222M fits Warne Maxima bases plus any Weaver cross-slot or Mil-Spec Picatinny rail, giving a strong, permanent mounting solution for a dedicated hunting or long-range rifle.
