Warne PA Ring Mount Recoil Key for Picatinny & Weaver Rails

The Warne PA Ring Mount Recoil Key is a small square steel insert that seats into the recoil slot of Warne scope ring mounts, preventing the rings from shifting forwards or rearwards under the forces generated by firing. Warne's own guidance recommends pushing rings to the front of the base slot so the recoil key bears fully against the forward face of the slot — exactly the position recoil will drive them to anyway. This key ensures that engagement surface is positive and consistent shot after shot, guarding against peening or swaging of softer aluminium bases over time. Designed for use with Warne QD (Quick Detach) ring mounts on Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) and Weaver-pattern rails, it is the correct replacement or spare part if an original key is lost or damaged. A simple component, but one that is fundamental to maintaining zero and protecting both the mount and the base under repeated recoil.
