- Compact pull-through sharpener for camp and kitchen knives
- Diamond-coated 400 grit coarse stage for reprofiling
- Finer rods for finishing the edge
- Lightweight enough to live in a cook kit or pack
- Designed for quick touch-ups in the field
The Gerber ComplEAT Sharpener is a compact pull-through sharpener for keeping camp and kitchen knives in working order. A few passes through the rods restores a working edge, which matters because a blunt knife needs more force and is the more dangerous tool. It uses a diamond-coated 400 grit coarse stage for reprofiling a tired edge and finer rods for finishing, and the whole thing is light enough to live in a cook kit or pack without being noticed. Intended for quick touch-ups in the field rather than full workshop reprofiling.
