Smith's 3" Double-Sided Diamond Sharpener is a pocket-sized sharpening stone for keeping a field or fishing knife working properly away from the workbench. One face carries a 320-grit diamond surface for fast, coarse honing on a dulled or damaged edge, while the other is 800 grit for a finer, polished finish - so a single stone covers both stages of sharpening. The diamond surfaces cut quickly on high carbon and stainless steel alike, making short work of most hunting, EDC and fishing knives. A V-shaped groove along one edge of the stone is purpose-built for touching up fish hooks, a detail anglers and those who process their own catch will get plenty of use from. The stone is supplied with a fabric storage pouch that has a fold-over flap to keep the diamond faces protected and a belt loop for carrying it on a belt, tackle bag or rucksack strap. At 3" x 1" x 0.25", it is small and light enough to go in a pocket without being noticed until it's needed.
