Smith's 4" Coarse Diamond Sharpening Stone is a compact 325-grit diamond stone built for fast, effective edge repair in the field or at the bench. The diamond surface is interrupted rather than solid, a pattern that collects and holds the metal filings pulled off the blade as you work so the abrasive keeps cutting cleanly instead of clogging. Alongside the main face it carries a Micro-Tool Sharpening Pad for touching up the tip of a blade or small cutting tools, and a straight-line groove for putting a point back on fishhooks and other pointed tackle. A moulded cover protects the diamond surface in transit and doubles as a base, lifting the stone and holding it steady while you sharpen.
