The Amblers Safety FS998 is a fully waterproof, metal-free safety boot built for wet, demanding outdoor work — keepering, larder work, kennels and general trade use alike. It's rated EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 WR CI HRO SRC, with a composite toe cap and composite midsole giving impact and penetration protection without the weight or cold-transfer of steel. A breathable waterproof membrane sits behind a water-resistant nubuck leather upper (WR) to keep feet dry through the day, while 200g Thinsulate insulation backs up the boot's certified cold insulation (CI) rating to add warmth in cold conditions. A YKK metal side zip makes the boot quick to get on and off without disturbing the lace fastening, and inside there's a padded suede collar, padded mesh tongue and a removable memory-foam footbed for all-day comfort. The SRC-rated outsole is slip resistant on wet, oily and muddy ground, and the sole itself is heat-resistant (HRO) up to 300°C contact — useful around yards, workshops and larders as much as in the field. A practical, honey-coloured lace-up boot for anyone needing genuine waterproofing and safety-toe protection in one package.
