The Caldwell E-Max Link is a Bluetooth communication accessory that lets shooters and stalkers stay in contact with each other without removing their hearing protection. It pairs wirelessly to compatible Caldwell electronic muffs and plugs, including the E-Max Pro, E-Max Pro BT, E-Max Shadows and E-Max Shadows Pro ranges, and for non-Bluetooth hearing protection it connects instead via a 3.5mm audio cord, so it isn't tied to one style of ear defence. Once linked, users can talk to one another across open ground at ranges up to 12 miles line of sight, useful on a driven shoot, a large stalking party or any session where the group is spread out and needs to coordinate without shouting or breaking cover. Power comes from a supplied rechargeable battery topped up via USB-C, with the option of running on 3 x AA batteries when a recharge isn't convenient.
