Deerhunter Pro Gamekeeper jacket
I only worn the jacket 8 or 9 times up to now but I’m happy enough with its performance, I sat 4 hours in rain and drizzle and none of the wet had penetrated through to my clothes by the time I got home so I was happy with that, the longer back of the jacket helps keep your backside dry and your lower back warm which is great.
I would say that it’s lacking in pockets for it to be called a Gamekeepers jacket and sadly that’s the one thing that lets the jacket down. I will be using it mainly for fox control at night so a poachers pocket in the back and a couple of pockets on the upper sleeves would have been useful for keeping all the spare batteries, bullets, calls and lens cloths etc, out of the way. A radio pocket or clip would also have been a very useful addition.
The jacket is quiet but not silent, the waterproof membrane causes it to rustle a little when creeping or crawling about or when moving into a position to take a shot but probably not enough to alert the quarry apart from on the stillest of nights or if it’s close!
The camo blends in well amongst woodland ground or when in the highseat, a wetlands pattern version would be good as the jacket is a little too dark when out on the open hill.
From its performance so far I’d happily buy another one as it’s better than some of my previous jackets that have cost a lot more than this one!
As usual the service from BushWear was first rate.
Outside in a monsoon for an hour totally bone dry just what I wanted....
What can I say but perfection.... fits perfect looks perfect and zero noise🤫
Slight issue when the first jacket arrived, packaging said XL but medium inside but the customer service team sorted it immediately by sending out the correct one (checked it first)
Thanks everyone I’m supper chuffed with my Deer Hunter Pro👍🏻

purchased a pair of cold weather gloves some 3 years ago from you, they worked fine in the cold weather , the new pair i would say not up to the same standard and do not repel the cold as well as the old pair
I was a bit disappointed that after 3 coats like the tin said, I had damp socks by the end of the day
Really pleased with this mincer. It went through venison and pork with no problems. Shame there aren’t instructions on how to use the sausage maker part but would definitely highly recommend
Excellent warmth.. comfortable..easy on and off..silent for stalking also....Great price..only issue with these is there's two buttons for closing round the waist....mine are a size bigger than I need but when you bend over the buttons open..needs a hook or a catch..only issue really
