The Featherweight 149 is the lightest moderator in Freyr & Devik's range, at approximately 149 grams. The Featherweight line pairs a titanium core and thread in the blast chamber — where the heat and erosion are — with an aluminium baffle stack, which is how the weight comes down without giving up service life. At this weight there is almost no effect on the natural balance of the rifle, so it suits driven shooting, stalking, and any day spent working a dog with a rifle over your shoulder. Freyr & Devik quote 27–29 dB of suppression, and the moderator is intended for smaller calibres rather than magnums. It measures 125mm overall with 109mm forward of the muzzle, and 44.5mm in diameter. The whole unit opens for cleaning. Choose your thread and calibre above.
