The UTS 231 is the all-rounder of Freyr & Devik's Ultimate Silence range: a 3D-printed Grade 5 titanium core and baffle stack in an aerospace aluminium housing, rated for standard and magnum cartridges up to and including .300 Win Mag. Freyr & Devik quote 32–38 dB — the same reduction as the heavier FW269 — from a moderator weighing approximately 231 grams. The telescoping design measures 170mm overall but adds only 122mm forward of the muzzle, so the rifle keeps its balance and its handling in cover. At 49.5mm in diameter it sits clear of stalking-weight barrels and most scope bells. The closed titanium construction is chosen for corrosion resistance and thermal behaviour, with a thicker aluminium outer that helps keep heat haze off the sight picture.
