The Hornady Lock-N-Load Bench Rest Grade Powder Measure is built for reloaders who demand tighter charge-to-charge consistency than a standard volumetric measure can deliver. At its heart is a specially designed chrome-plated metering insert paired with a smaller metering chamber — the combination promotes more uniform powder filling and tighter extreme spreads, which matters most when working up precise stalking or target loads. The micrometer adjustment dial gives a reliable numeric reference so you can record and return to any setting without guesswork, and pre-set metering units can be swapped in at the press of a button on the outside of the chamber. The measure spans 20 to 65 grains, covering a broad range of rifle and handgun propellants. All moving parts carry a protective plating for long service life, and the rotor runs dry — no lubrication required. A separately available Drain Tube Insert lets you return powder to its container without dismantling the measure, keeping the bench clean and the workflow quick.
