The Leofoto Azure AZ-204C is a compact four-section travel tripod built from 10-layer carbon fibre with 6061-T6 aluminium fittings, supplied here with the LH-25R low-profile ball head. Rather than conventional round tubes, the Azure uses oval leg sections that nest neatly around a Y-shaped centre column, so the whole kit packs down to 480mm and is easy to strap to a daypack or slip into hand luggage. Flip leg locks make setting up and packing away quick, and four leg angle positions let you spread the legs wide on rough ground. The rubber feet unscrew to reveal built-in spikes for grass, mud or gravel, and the centre column can be inverted for low-level and macro work. With the head fitted the kit weighs around 1.2kg, reaches a maximum height of 1405mm, goes down to 165mm and is rated to 7kg. The LH-25R head gives smooth panning with a laser-engraved scale, making it a good lightweight choice for a compact camera, binoculars on an adapter or a small spotting scope on walks and travel days.
