- Lever-release Arca-Swiss compatible clamp
- Fluid-dampened 360 degree pan with pan lock
- Tilt range plus 90 / minus 75 degrees
- Reversible 330mm pan handle included
- Maximum load 5kg
- 60mm flat base with 3/8 inch thread
- Two bubble levels
The Leofoto BV-10L takes the compact BV-10 fluid head and adds a lever-release clamp, so an Arca plate can be fitted or removed with a single movement rather than winding a knob. That makes it quick to swap between a camera, a spotting scope and a pair of binoculars on Arca plates during a day out. The head gives smooth, fluid-dampened movement, panning a full 360 degrees with indexed markings and tilting from plus 90 to minus 75 degrees, with individual pan and tilt locks. The camera platform is indexed for fast rebalancing, and two bubble levels, on the pan base and on the platform, help get everything level. The included pan handle can be mounted on either side of the head for left or right-handed operation. A 60mm flat base with a 3/8 inch thread fits compatible tripods, sliders and other supports. Rated to 5kg, the BV-10L suits mirrorless and DSLR cameras, compact camcorders and lightweight optics, giving wildlife watchers, birders and stalkers controlled scanning and smooth following of moving subjects on a light tripod set-up, whether glassing a hillside or filming wildlife from a hide.
